This wasn’t a session. It was a Sunday visit. No lights, no prep — just family.

My niece was holding my grandfather’s hand on the porch. They weren’t talking, just sitting, swaying slightly in old rocking chairs. I quietly lifted my camera and caught the frame — her tiny hand wrapped around his, which looked like it had lived a hundred lives.

I never showed their faces. I didn’t need to.

🤲 Field Note: Emotion lives in gestures. Don’t be afraid to let hands speak for hearts.
